Join Great Outdoors San Diego at the Big Gay Picnic on Sunday, September 13th! The Big Gay Picnic has grown over the years into one of San Diego's most welcoming LGBTQIA+ community gatherings - a space for the whole rainbow to connect, no matter who you are or how you identify. This year's theme, Sapphic September, celebrates and uplifts San Diego's sapphic community, spotlighting queer women, lesbian, trans, and nonbinary folks - and as always, everyone is welcome to come together, make new friends, and celebrate community in a fun, welcoming space.
Check in at the welcome booth for your passport and travel around to local groups - including our own GOSD booth! - to discover San Diego's LGBTQIA+ community. Complete the passport activity for a chance at prizes donated by local organizations, like music or performance tickets.
Bring a potluck item to share, enjoy community over lunch, and make memories. Expect a free photo booth, live music, and a live performance around 1:30pm.
Come for the day, or volunteer to help staff the GOSD booth - sign up for a shift when you "Register" here on this event page!
