  • Passengers register directly as 'Passenger'
  • Passengers are responsible for arranging their ride. During registration please list your driver.
  • This category is for passengers looking for a ride. GO does not arrange carpooling, but we will provide your name to a driver who wishes to take on a passenger in their 4x4 vehicle. During the registration process put "looking for a ride" in the ride sharing box.

4x4 Trip to Santa Rosa Mountain /Toro Peak 

  • Trail Length: 11 miles one way
  • Toro Peak is 8600' 
  • Difficulty Rating: Easy- moderate-suitable for stock vehicle
  • Trail Type: Unpaved road - rutted, uneven
  •  8:00 AM Meet at PetSmart Palm Springs Ramon/Crossley MAP
  •  Santa Rosa Rd (7S02) is  accessed from Hwy 74 MAP to trailhead.  It begins in chaparral, and winds its way up to pines and cedars below Santa Rosa and Toro Peak.
  • Option to do a short hike along a ridge out from the road.

Equipment Requirements:

  • 4 wheel drive vehicle with transfer case, trail rated tires and a spare tire.
  • Full tank of gas or fully charged battery

Bring:  water, lunch/ snacks.

Passengers are responsible for arranging you own transportation. Open to Great Outdoors members and nonmembers. To sign up as a member, click here

Drivers are welcome to bring passengers.  GO does not arrange rideshares. If any drivers wish to offer a passenger seat, you may so indicate.
