San Roque Creek / Stevens Park Trail Hike

Come join GO-SBVC & the Santa Barbara Gay Men's Group (Coffee Meetup) for some shared fun and camaraderie as we hike the San Roque Creek/Stevens Park Trail. This is a 3.1 mile out and back trail with 308 feet elevation gain taking from between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete. The path does move from full shade to possible full sun exposure. While the city calls this a walking trail and AllTrails rates it as "easy", please keep in mind there is a creek crossing and you may have to go over obstacles in your path.  However, a recent report from an AllTrails user on 1/20 does mention that a wooden bridge has been constructed over the creek. Also note that you may encounter poison oak and be sure to keep an eye out for snakes and other wildlife. Dogs are welcome on-leash. Always consider bringing the 10 Essentials on any hike. We will meet in the parking lot at Stevens Park at 11:00 am and begin hike at 11:10 am.
