STARGAZING AT MISSION TRAILS MARCH 4 | East County Magazine

The first weekend of January features the peak of the Quadrantid meteor shower, one of the year's best displays, known for bright fireballs and a short, intense peak around January 3-4. Best viewed in the Northern Hemisphere.

Join members from the San Diego Astronomy Association at the far end of the Kumeyaay Lake Campground’s Day Use Parking Lot to view the nighttime sky through telescopes. 

Event Specific Challenges (stairs, animals, allergens): Rain or cloudy skies cancel event.
