PS - Bike: Early Morning Bike Ride on the CV Link

Fall is here and it’s the perfect time of year to start your day with a 20-mile bike ride on the (almost-completed) CV Link.  Our route will take us past Demuth Park and then on through the Prescott Preserve, continuing down the protected bike path along Mesquite. At Belardo, we will ride on neighborhood streets, including through Old Las Palmas.  We’ll then take Via Escuela to Sunrise and catch the new Sunrise/CV Link connection which will take us south back to the starting point.

There will be some surface street riding, but only on quiet streets. The section of Sunrise we will ride on is to the far north and is the only major street we will ride on. There are wide shoulders and/or sidewalks. When we get to Ramon, we will cross at the stoplight on Crossley where it is safe.

Meeting Place:  We’ll meet at the Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort (1885 Golf Club Dr, Palm Springs) at 6:45 am for a prompt departure at 7 am (park over to the left of the parking lot).  (Map click here)
