Join Great Outdoors SBVC for a 4th of July Drone Light Show Watch Party!

This 4th of July, skip the crowds and fireworks, and come chill with us for something totally new and spectacular — Goleta’s cutting-edge Drone Light Show, viewed from our fun and festive potluck-style watching party!

What’s Happening:
While the drone show will be taking place at Dos Pueblos High School, we’ll be meeting at the end of the Albertson’s parking lot right across from Girsh Park to catch an amazing view from across the highway of  the dazzling high-tech celebration. Instead of fireworks, this year the City of Goleta is lighting up the sky with 150 synchronized drones, creating an unforgettable aerial display you won’t want to miss.

Bring a Little Dish & Drink:
This is a potluck-style hangout, so bring a favorite snack, appetizer, dessert, or beverage to share. Nothing fancy — just something tasty! We’ll bring the good vibes and a welcoming space to gather. And don't forget a comfortable camping chair too!

All Are Welcome:
Hosted by Great Outdoors Santa Barbara/Ventura County, a friendly and inclusive LGBTQ+ camping and social group, this is the perfect chance to relax, meet new friends, and enjoy the holiday in great company.

Where to Meet:
Albertson’s parking lot in Goleta, at the far end near Girsh Park
When: Thursday, July 4th — arrive around 6:00 PM to settle in before the show begins
Drone Show Starts: Just after dark!

Come celebrate independence, community, and innovation with us under the stars!

Let’s eat, laugh, connect, and enjoy a light show like no other!
