This is a popular hike for many reasons: Three palm oases, a wide variety of shrubs and blooming cactus, cool rock formations, great views of the Big Horn golf course and Coachella Valley as well as wilderness spots where no civilization is visible. We will hike in about 4 miles, have snacks, then retrace our steps back to our cars. Note that we will not be doing the entire 16 mile length of this trail.
