Hike to a seldom visited location. A very special and unique place with one of the best views overlooking the valley and unique natural features found nowhere else in the world. Visitation to this area is restricted and permitted only with a special permit. You will learn why this vernal lake is protected and how it relates to an Island in the Sky.

Tickets for the Tram: $30.95 Adult $28.95 Senior. Annual passes available $165.00.Summer passes are available for $85. You can also arrive early (9 to 9:15 a.m.) to get to the front of the ticket line and purchase ticket. $15 parking fee waived for pass holders and local residents. Our tram departure is 10 a.m.
What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing and hiking poles. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
