Ocean explorers, please join us for a morning of kayaking with rentals from Kayaks on the Water! Newbies are most welcome.

This is a beginners' friendly kayaking day; no prior experience is expected. Paddleboards are also available for renting, if you prefer! We'll explore the harbor at an easy pace through the Naples Canals, "Horny Corner", Alamitos Bay and Marina.


Limited parking is available at the venue and curbside or city lots (pay) across the street:

CARPOOLING is recommended.  If you need or can provide a ride, please go to the link below, enter your info, then check back frequently for a match.

Please bring a hat, clothes for water activity, sunscreen, water, and snacks. Life vests will be provided as part of rental.


IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Register on the Great Outdoors -LA website using the link in this email/webpage
  • Go to the venue website: http://kayakrentals.net/
  • Select the option "Optional Online Reservation"
  • Complete the waiver and required safety instructions
  • Participants are responsible for paying for their own rentals. The rate is $12/hr. ($7 if we get 20pp or more)

Space is limited so please only RSVP if you intend to come. Out of consideration for the rest of the group, we ask that you aim to be on time.

After the two hours of group kayaking, we have reservations at Taco Shore, just a few blocks from the rental/launch venue.

Note that when paying for your meal, split checks may not be available. The event coordinators will let you know your total, plus tax and tip, and you may pay them directly. Please expect to spend at least $18 after tax and tip for food only.

If you are joining our group for the first time, know that the organizer(s) will do their best to make you feel welcome. Please feel free to contact them in advance if you have any questions.
