Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Los Angeles

If you unfamiliar with the historic core of downtown Los Angeles or if it has been a while since you have explored the area, this is an opportunity to see many historic and cultural sites in the downtown area.

The Great Outdoors group plans to depart from the Old San Bernardino Depot Metrolink Station at 1170 N. 3rd St, San Bernardino CA 92418 (click here) (not to be confused with the San Bernardino Downtown Station) to LA Union Station.

We will meet at Palm Springs Del Taco, 2444 N. Palm Canyon Dr and Racquet Club. There is ample parking to the east of Del Taco (MAP) at 6:45 am, departing at 7:00 am to allow time to reach the San Bernardino Depot.  Carpooling is encouraged and may be available if offered by the driver. You are responsible for arranging your own transportation or ride share. The train we plan to take departs San Bernardino Depot at 8:41 am and arrives in LA Union Station at 10:22 am.  You can view the train schedule for the San Bernardino Line at metrolinktrains.com There will be ample parking at the Station.

The Great Outdoors group plans to return from LA Union Station to the San Bernardino Depot on the 4:38 pm train, arriving at the San Bernardino Depot at 6:16 pm. Should you desire to stay longer, there is a 7:38 pm train that arrives at 6:23 pm.  The last train of the day is at 9:38 pm.
