Murray Canyon Conservation History Walk 

On this 4-mile out-and-back hike/walk in the Indian Canyons at the south end of Palm Springs, local conservationist Gary  Gray will tell us the inspiring story of how this area was saved several times from development in the 1970s and 1980s and preserved for all to enjoy today. Frequent discussion stops and possible stream crossings with climb and descent of 640 feet

Rated: Easy  

8:30 am Meet at the Andreas Canyon parking lot near the bedrock mortars. Shortly after the Indian Canyons Entrance Station at 38515 S Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264, turn right on paved road and drive to dirt parking at the end of the road. Map click here. Note there may be a line at the entrance station so arrive early.

Indian Canyons Admission: $12 per person; seniors $7.

Cancel: If you cannot make a hike for which you have registered please cancel as others may be on the waitlist. You may cancel directly from your profile settings or notify the hike leader.
