The 49 Palms Oasis Trail is located in 29 Palms and is in JTNP. Hike up and over some ridges with great views of the valley to a large palm oasis. The trail climbs up large steps & uneven terrain. It is a well traveled & maintained trail. The hike is in the park so you will need a pass.

What to bring: Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.
