Description: The trail named after Frank Bogert, the former mayor whose statue at City Hall has been in the news lately, offers scenic views of the Andreas Hills, San Jacinto Mountains and south Palm Springs. It is easily accessible from, you guessed it, Bogert Trail Road, which has ample street parking, as does nearby Andreas Hills Drive. This hike is timed to let us enjoy the sunset and relax after Palm Springs Pride Weekend. Arrive in time to start hiking at 3:30 p.m. Standard Time, the day after we put our clocks back an hour.
Meeting Location: Trailhead 5 miles south of downtown Palm Springs, just past 3756 Bogert Trail: Map click here
