PALM SPRINGS PRIDE PARADE - SIGN UP AND MARCH WITH US

Great Outdoors will participate in the annual Palm Springs Pride Parade on Sunday November 7, 2021. Our group includes a marching unit and a fleet of decorated Jeeps and a golf cart. We are looking for 40 members to walk in the parade ahead of the vehicles. Volunteers receive a complimentary T-shirt to wear in the parade. Come join in the celebration!

Sunday, November 7 - Pride Parade and Festival

8:00 AM - Staging for Pride Parade vehicles (time and location along N. Palm Canyon (Not yet finalized - drivers will be emailed with our location prior to the event)
9:00 AM - Marchers assemble ahead of the vehicles and T-shirts distributed (you will be emailed the week before the event location of the general area where to gather)
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - PS Pride Parade

Notes:

In order to sign up for this event, you must be a member of one of our chapters. If not currently a member, you can sign up first (click here) and then return here to register.
Volunteers will receive a complimentary T-shirt the day of the parade, and need to specify their T-shirt size as part of their registration. T-shirts are to be worn during the parade.
Walkers are encouraged to wear hiking or backpacking gear (shorts, knapsacks, hiking boots or hiking shoes, hats, water bottles, etc.).
In order to ensure we will have the proper complimentary T-shirt size for all registrants, registrations after Oct 1 will automatically go on a waitlist. If we have your t-shirt size, we will clear you off the waitlist. If you have questions please contact Doug Wylie, Outreach-PS@greatoutdoors.org.
