Great Outdoors bike ride-Griffith Park and Los Angeles River bike path on July 18th at 10:00 a.m.

Trip Leader: Michael Wickstrom, questions email President-LA@GreatOutdoors.org

We will all meet at Los Angeles Zoo free parking lot on Zoo Dr. at 10:00 a.m. (see Google link below for map coordinates). This trip has no hills and anticipated mileage is 15 miles round trip. This is a fairly easy bike ride with great views of Glendale and the L.A. River along the way. The half way point to break is at Bicycle Spoke Café in Frogtown (Elysian Valley) and we can break for coffee or early brunch at 11:00 or so. Bicycle Spoke Café is an outdoor café and social distancing guidelines are as per the county of Los Angeles.

Attendance at this event is open to all!

Bring water, sunscreen, money for brunch break. Please be prepared to address any repairs needed on your own (bring spare inner tube, portable bike pump, repair kit, call Lyft etc.); trip leader/ group will try to help but may not have the capacity to repair bikes that get flat tires etc. Thank you for understanding.
