DAY HIKE - ARABY TRAIL TO SMOKETREE PEAK TRAIL
Bob Hope House Description:

This hike will take us to Smoketree Peak where we will have unobstructed and spectacular views of Mt San Jacinto, Mt San Gorgonio and Palm Springs. We will hike from the trailhead of Araby trail located at Southridge Dr. and East Palm Canyon Dr. past Bob Hope's house up to Smoketree Peak, have lunch, and continue down Shannon Trail, and the Palm Canyon wash back to the parking area.

This is a moderate hike being a total distance of approximately 5 miles with a vertical gain of approximately 1300 ft.

Dress appropriately and bring adequate hydration and lunch.

We will meet at 9:00 AM at Hunters Bar, 302 E. Arenas Rd and return at approximately 2:00 PM.
