DAY HIKE - MURRAY HILL

Notice: Effective October 1, 2004, a two dollar fee ($2) will be charged for all non members on day hikes, 4x4 outings and moonlight hikes.

Description: We will begin hiking up a dirt road, which shortly joins a maze of trails and other dirt roads. Even though we will be close to town, it should not take long for the street sounds to fade. We will continue until reaching a single foot trail which goes to the top of Murray Hill. At almost 2,200 feet, with a distinctive point, it is the most noticeable peak just south of town, and provides outstanding views of the area. We will have lunch at the top before continuing back to the trailhead by another route.
