ADMINISTRATION
The
Great Outdoors Palm Springs Chapter is governed by the By-Laws of
California Great Outdoors, Inc.

The Chapter conducts its day-to-day business through a "core" group. To see or contact the current
core group,

The core group consists of the following elected and appointed positions:

Elected positions: President, Vice President of Outings and Treasurer.

Appointed positions: Secretary, Board Representative, Trip Leader, Newsletter Editor,
Game Night and Activities Coordinator, Wagon Master and Webmaster.
Members are nominated during the August meeting and elections are held during the September meeting each year.
Group Email List: GOPS maintains a Yahoo Group Email Distribution List for members only. Members can sign
up for free reminders of upcoming events, send emails to other members and view archive files. Members may sign up
by
clicking here. The service is free and one
does not have to be or become a Yahoo member to sign up. Members may remove themselves from the group email
list at any time.
