Description: The Great Outdoors Palm Springs (GOPS) and Great Outdoors Orange County/Long Beach (GOOCLB) Chapters are joining forces for an exciting weekend of camping, hiking and a boat cruise at the Serrano Campground which is located in the San Bernardino National Forest at Big Bear Lake.

One of the most beautiful Southern California mountain destinations, the Serrano campground is ideally located near the lake with large sites. Great hiking and bicycle paths right from the camp. The Discovery Nature Center is walking distance and close to restaurants and small boutique stores in the town of Big Bear.

We have 7 adjacent spacious premium campsites with lake views and overflow parking very close. Facilities include fire rings, picnic tables, flush toilets and showers at the campground. Room for 7 RV’s (no hookups) and 25 tents. Attractions: Alpine pedal path, Woodland Trail, Cougar Crest Trail, Narrated Boat Tour. Serrano Campground is located in a mountain setting within the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear Lake. A list of planned activities is listed in the Trip Notes.
