PETROGLYPHS OF THE COSOS
Notice: Effective October 1, 2004, a two dollar fee ($2) will be charged for all non members on day hikes, 4x4 outings and moonlight hikes.

Description: Scott is leading a camping trip in order for us to visit the Petroglyphs of the Cosos. Little Petroglyph Canyon at China Lake Naval Weapons Center contains the highest concentration of rock art in the Western Hemisphere. More than 6,000 images have been pecked, engraved, or abraded into the desert varnish, which are reminders of past civilizations that lived here. Access is restricted by the Navy and we will have escorts as required.

Space is limited. Deadline for registration: FEBRUARY 18
