DAY HIKE - ROUND VALLEY LOOP
Notice: Effective October 1, 2004, a two dollar fee ($2) will be
charged for all non members on day hikes, 4x4 outings and moonlight hikes.
* You will be responsible for paying your own Tram ride fare. *

Description:
From the top of the tram, we will hike through pine forests to Round Valley on a trail that works its way up a
small valley with a stream that may still have a bit of water in it. From Round Valley, we will retrace our
steps 3/10 of a mile to a junction with a trail that heads east and provides nice views of Mt. San Jacinto
and its "college" neighbors before joining a trail that returns to the tram. The first tram during the
week is at 10:00 a.m., so we won't be in a hurry to get to the tram station. There will be plenty of time
to visit and buy our tickets before boarding the tram.
