DAY HIKE - PINE CITY
Notice: Effective October 1, 2004, a two dollar fee ($2) will be charged for all non members on day hikes, 4x4 outings and moonlight hikes.
* There is a $15 per vehicle admission fee into the park *
(We will share gas & park admission unless someone in the vehicle has a valid pass.)

Description: Pine City was never a city. It wasn’t even a town. It is just an area in the north central part of Joshua Tree National Park with more pine trees than are usually found in the desert. The trailhead is accessible from the main park road near Jumbo Rocks. The trail is relatively flat and provides an opportunity to explore the scenery and plant life of the park. For those who are interested, on the return we will take a short side trail to view the ruins of the Desert Queen mine.

Note: There is an admission fee to the park: $15.00 per vehicle or one of the National Park passes.
