DAY HIKE - SPITLER CREEK

Description:
"This trail to Spitler Peak is the most direct route up the mountain, allowing
the hiker to avoid lengthy sections of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) in an attempt
to reach the peak. The views at the top show the panorama of the
Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains with glimpses of Palomar Range

Car pool from Hunter’s - 45 miles to Lake Hemet near trail head.

this is hike # 66 and can be found on page 131 of the 2003 edition.
