The Orange County/Long Beach chapter of California Great Outdoors, Inc. is proud to host this year's all-chapter Conference & Jamboree in San Cemente California. This event will be held at San Clemente State Beach, a tree lined park over looking the Pacific Ocean.

This important conference and jamboree not only offers fun in the sun, but it is also when we hold our annual elections for the Corporate officers: Chairperson, Financial Officer and Secretary. The theme for this year is Oktoberfest.

On Friday night we will gather for snacks, beverages (with wine), cheeses and fresh fruit. We will serve breakfast on Saturday morning. The highlight of the day will be a traditional German dinner on Saturday night. Bring your favorite stout beer or German wine to enjoy with your meal.

We have fourteen camping spaces for tent camping and RV's shorter than 24 feet in length, and two full hook-up RV sites. Each site has running water, fire rings/BBQ's or a BBQ, picnic table and

a shaded cover. There are flush toilets, hot showers (bring quarters), and paved roads. The beach is about a quarter of a mile away, down a short bluff. We will also have the amphitheater for our meetings and an evening of entertainment.  

The City of San Clemente is wonderful place to to stroll about. Check out the antique stores and specialty shops. The pier at the beach is a popular spot with all the locals, plus endless miles of clean sands to walk on a fantastic California sunny day. We will organize a trip to San Onofre State park to do a day hike up through the Coastal Canyon of Orange County.
