Fourth of July Party , July 4, 2009
Jay and Garry will host their second annual Pot-Luck part this year. It will start at 5:00 pm. Bring a favorite pot luck dish. The fireworks will be seen from the beach which is about 4 blocks from their house. Plan to come on time as the street parking gets bad. We may also be playing board games while waiting for the fireworks to start. Call Jay or Gary at 562-537-2056. BYOB

Rancho Cuyamaca Car Camp , August 7-9, 2009
High in the mountains, lots of places to hike and places to see. This is a mountain setting 16 miles south of Julian California and east of Escondido. We will camp at about 4,500 feet in a pine forest. There are over 100 miles of hiking trails and beautiful vistas for photos and just enjoying the Great Outdoors. There is a lake about 2 miles away where boats may be rented. Julian is the apple capital of California. A quiet, former mining town, it is now a tourist destination.
