Local Chapters

California Great Outdoors, Inc. consists of five chapters serving regions throughout Southern California. Membership entitles privileges to all events, activities and discounts sponsored by any of the Great Outdoors chapters.

Each chapter has their own calendar of day and overnight events. All chapters have hikes of varying degrees of difficulty (easy, moderate and strenuous/difficult) and lengths. Our hikes are done locally and far away in County, State and National Parks.

We also offer overnight camping and backpaking trips. We stay on the ground in tents, in cars or even in RVs. It all just depends upon the location of our various events.

Most of our chapaters offer other social events such as pizza nights, board game nights, pool parties, etc.

You may join any chapter you wish, regardless of where you reside or work. We encourage you to explore each chapter's web pages. You will find that each chapter has their own "personality" and unique style.
