The GOPS Monthly Meeting is being held in person this month, s well as via Zoom.
The meeting is a monthly business meeting of the Core Group Members, and is available to the public. The meeting will run from 6:30 pm to about 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
The meeting will be held at the The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert, 1301 North Palm Canyon Dr, Room 3, 3rd Floor, Palm Springs, CA 92262.
GOPS Members and Core Group members need to register for the meeting.
We will also offer the option of attending the meeting by zoom. The zoom login information will be provided in the registration reminder email.
The Great Outdoors San Diego (GOSD) Core Group meets every month to conduct GOSD business and share a meal together. Members and interested others are welcome to join. If you'll be joining us, please RSVP. If joining, please meet at Roberto's at 6:30pm sharp to order food and walk over to the meeting location by 7:00pm. Feel free to bring your own food or order upon arrival!

Join us for our monthly social gathering and meeting. Thanks to our gracious hosts at Ontraport, we now have access to an indoor space with video conferencing abilities. Please register if you would like to attend remotely and we will email a Zoom link the day of the meeting.
For those coming in-person, feel free to bring your favorite beverages (BYOB). To satisfy your appetite, we will have some delicious pizza on the menu. You can enjoy a slice or two for a small $5 donation (payable upon registration).

GOPS Monthly Core Group Meetings are usually held on the fourth Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30 pm, subject to change due to holidays and conflicting events. Meetings can be attended online via Zoom each month. Meetings are held simultaneously in-person in January, March, May, July, September and November 2023. In-person meetings are held at the Center, 3rd floor Meeting Room 3, 1301 North Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA.

California Great Outdoors - Board Meeting

The Great Outdoors Board will meet on Saturday July 13, 2024 starting at 10:00 AM. The meeting will take place online using Zoom.
All GO Board Members and Chapter Representatives attending this meeting will need to register for this event.

Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area
The park is located off of Highway 138 and Cleghorn Road, 11 miles east of I-15 heading east; or 20 miles north of San Bernardino via Highways 18 & 138. Get directions through Google Maps
Valle group campsite can accommodate over 100 people. There are restrooms and paid showers on site as well as potable water, fire rings, BBQ grills, covered pagodas and picinic tables; all in a central location. Dogs allowed. Trailers/Campers/Motorhomes up to 31 feet.
The San Bernardino National Forest is comprised of the northern Santa Rosa Mountains, the eastern San Gabriel Mountains, the San Jacintos Mountains, and the San Bernardino Mountains. These ranges cover 100 miles of Southern California and comprise a diverse ecosystem. Local fauna includes 440 species, more than two dozen of which are currently endangered or threatened. There are many different species of flora as well, including Joshua trees, various types of pines and firs, and barrel cactuses.
